Tickets Now on Sale for the World Premiere of “The Mighty Macs” Movie at the Kimmel Center

Tickets are now on sale for the Red Carpet movie premiere of "The Mighty Macs" on Friday, October 14, at the Kimmel Center. The film, based on a true story, depicts the 1972 national championship basketball season of the Mighty Macs of "tiny" Immaculata College, now University. The film is co-written and directed by Tim Chambers.
Tickets are $150 per person (plus a $4 handling fee) and may be purchased by calling the Communications Office at Immaculata University at 610-647-4400, ext. 3874. Proceeds from the movie premiere benefit Immaculata University and Coaches vs. Cancer.
Scheduled to appear at the premiere are actors Carla Gugino (Spy Kids, Race to Witch Mountain, Night at the Museum), David Boreanaz (Fox TV´s Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Marley Shelton (Eleventh Hour, Pleasantville). Former Mighty Macs Coach Cathy Rush and 13 of the championship Mighty Macs are also attending in addition to Pat Croce, Anthony Gargano, Phil Martelli, Jay Wright, and Michael Smerconish. After the screening of the movie, there will be 70s disco party. Black tie or 70s attire optional.
