Retreat for Young People
Immaculata University is hosting Hearts on Fire, a retreat for young people ages 18-39, single or married. The retreat is scheduled for Saturday, December 1, beginning with a 9:00 a.m. Mass in Villa Maria Chapel.
The Hearts on Fire retreat offers a one-day spiritual renewal for young people. Participants will learn insights on how the deepest desires of our hearts lead us to the heart of Jesus and also some practical ways to connect faith and daily life. An introduction to the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola will also be explored. Phil Hurley, S.J., Youth and Young Adult director at the Apostleship of Prayer and John Peck, S.J., from Loyola University, are the two guest speakers. The retreat will conclude with a coffeehouse social.
