Presidential Scholar: Christine McIntyre
Immaculata University is pleased to announce that incoming freshman Christine McIntyre of Glenside, PA, has been given a Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship worth $30,700 per year, to attend Immaculata. The Presidential Scholarship, which provides full tuition benefits to recipients, is awarded to a select number of students with a record of academic excellence. Students are evaluated on the basis of GPA (students must maintain a 3.25 GPA), class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank, and recommendations. There are four recipients of the Presidential Scholarship this year.
McIntyre attended Saint Basil Academy in Jenkintown, PA. During high school, she was involved in the French Club, Science Club, and Art Club, and was a member of the field hockey team. She took piano lessons and was involved in the Community Service Corps. McIntyre plans to major in Nutrition/Dietetics.
