Phi Delta Kappa Chapter of Immaculata University Presents Lecture on “The Wacky World of School Law”
On Wednesday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m. the community is invited to attend a lecture by Dr. Perry Zirkel, entitled "The Wacky World of School Law." The presentation takes place in Alumnae Hall Theater. The cost is $10.
As a professor in the Educational Leadership program at Lehigh University, Dr. Zirkel is prolific writer in the area of school law and is a frequent speaker across the country. He has written over 925 publications on various aspects of school law. In addition, he is the primary author of Section 504, the ADA, and the Schools and he writes regular columns in the Phi Delta Kappan and Principal magazine. Dr. Zirkel is an active labor arbitrator and serves as co-chair of the special education hearing appeals panel for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is the past president of the Education Law Association.
