Immaculata University announces a new workshop on Food and Culture: Focus on the Mediterranean on Saturday, October 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, October 17, from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Nazareth Hall on the university´s campus.
Patricia Thibault, MS, RD, chair of the Fashion-Foods and Nutrition Department at Immaculata, instructs this workshop which examines the ways in which history, heritage, politics, and geography have shaped food habits of Mediterranean cultures. The workshop culminates with a dinner. Students pay a nominal fee for this meal.
The cost for this one-credit course if taken for college credit is $305 and $160 if taken as a non-credit workshop. For more information on this workshop, please contact the College of LifeLong Learning at 610-647-4400, ext. 3241.
