Upperclassmen at Immaculata University now have a new place to call home. Opening for the Fall semester is the newly-constructed West Campus Housing complex, an apartment-style residence located on the west side of campus near the athletic fields.  This construction project is part of a series of apartment units that will be built to accommodate the expanding student population.

Students will enjoy their own private, secure-access bedroom with a bed, dresser, and desk made from American red oak, a built-in closet, one or two large windows, and lush carpeting.  The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel GE appliances (including a dishwasher), quartz counter-tops, and cut-glass tile backsplash; an open dining area with dinette set and five chairs completes this section.   The living room is furnished with a leather sofa and two easy chairs, end tables, and a 50” wall-mounted 1080p, 120-hz flat-screen TV and high-speed wireless communications throughout the units.  The kitchen and living room area have plank-style hardwood floors.  Each suite also has compartmentalized bathrooms, allowing for more privacy, and a laundry area.  The units are sound-proof and heated/cooled with a geo-thermal system that is the most energy-efficient method.

Kinsley Construction served as contractors in the building of Phase 1 of the West Campus Housing Project with Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates as architects.  Twelve commissioned art pieces depicting scenes of Immaculata University were created by Brandi Fitzgerald of Fusion Arts and Photos in Philadelphia and will be displayed in the front entry.

Immaculata University is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher learning, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
