Immaculata’s program will prepare health information professionals to analyze, protect, and share medical data for clinical, financial, and legal uses. Students will gain a foundation in business, science, and information technology to help care for patients by caring for their health data. Courses will cover the interaction between various segments of the health care industry, data privacy, coding systems, clinical applications, and medical terminologies.
