New Director of Career and Professional Development
West Chester resident Kathleen McCauley joins Immaculata University as director of Career and Professional Development. In this capacity, she will help all students and alumni toward lifelong career achievement while providing vocational guidance, education, and personal support.
“I am happy to return to Immaculata and to have the opportunity to assist students and alumni with very important career and professional decisions. I look forward to forming a relationship with the local business community as well,” commented McCauley on her appointment as director of Career and Professional Development.
Most recently serving as associate director of Career Development at Neumann University, McCauley was also the coordinator of experiential education for seven years and also an adjunct faculty member at Neumann. From 2006-2007, McCauley supported Immaculata students as a part-time academic advisor for the College of LifeLong Learning. She began her career as a resident minister and associate director for the Faith-Justice Institute at St. Joseph’s University for seven years.
Earning a Bachelor of Art degree in Religious Studies from Villanova, McCauley continued her education receiving a Master of Arts in Theology/Pastoral Studies from the University of Dayton. She keeps up-to-date on industry trends by retaining memberships in the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Cooperative Education and Internship Association, National Society for Experiential Education, Delaware Valley Career Planners, the Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development, and the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.
