Mary Kate Boland Named Dean for Academic Affairs
Immaculata University announces that Mary Kate Boland of Exton, PA, has been promoted to Dean for Academic Affairs. In this position, she will oversee all undergraduate curriculum development, including the materials, policies, and resources that support the curriculum.
Previously, Boland had served as associate and assistant dean and director of Curriculum Development and Support at Immaculata University. In 2000, she arrived at Immaculata as director of Academic and Student Support Services for the College of LifeLong Learning. Prior to coming to Immaculata, she held administrative positions in higher education institutions and taught various topics as an adjunct faculty member at colleges and universities throughout the region.
Receiving her Bachelor of Arts from DeSales University, Boland continued her education earning a Master of Arts from Lehigh University. She received a Fairchild Fellowship in American Studies and teaching fellowships from Lehigh University. In 1988 she earned the Ross Baker Writing Achievement Award from DeSales.
