Light the Night Fundraiser

For the 6th consecutive year, Immaculata University supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual “Light the Night Walk” fundraiser.  The walk took place on Saturday, September 28, at Oakbourne Park in Westtown, PA.

Immaculata University’s Exercise Science Club organizes Team Immaculata’s fundraising efforts and recruits its members, Immaculata athletes and the campus community, to join the cause.  Over the years, Immaculata has raised $16,050 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

As director of Immaculata’s Athletic Training Program and moderator of the Exercise Science Club, Kelly Stalker, Ed.D., ATC, commented that, “It is a night of tears and celebration as we honor the memory of Immaculata family and friends who have been affected by blood cancers and celebrate the life of those who have successfully fought their battle and won.”
