Lexie Diaz Receives Presidential Scholarship
Immaculata University is pleased to announce that incoming freshman Lexie Diaz of Millersville, PA, has been given a Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship worth $30,700 per year, to attend Immaculata. The Presidential Scholarship, which provides full tuition benefits to recipients, is awarded to a select number of students with a record of academic excellence. Students are evaluated on the basis of GPA (students must maintain a 3.25 GPA), class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank, and recommendations. There are five recipients of the Presidential Scholarship this year.
“I am so grateful to have been awarded the Presidential Scholarship. Without it, my dreams of attending Immaculata would most likely have been halted,” stated Diaz. “I realize how great an honor it is and will continue to work hard to uphold the standards of the University.”
Diaz attended Penn Manor High School in Millersville, PA (Lancaster County). During high school, she was a member of the National Honors Society, the softball team, the Model United Nations Club, and the Aevidum Club. She participated in service learning opportunities at various elementary schools within the Penn Manor School District. Diaz plans to major in Education with certification in Special Education.
