Immaculata University is pleased to announce that incoming freshman Kelly Gross of Egg Habor Township, NJ, has been awarded a Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship worth $30,700 per year, to attend Immaculata.  The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to a select number of students with a record of academic excellence.  Students are evaluated on the basis of GPA (students must maintain a 3.25 GPA), class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank, and recommendations.  There are five recipients of the Immaculata Presidential Scholarship this year.

“Receiving the Presidential Scholarship at Immaculata University was not only a tremendous financial help for my family and me, but also a great reward for all my hard work throughout high school,” stated Gross.

As a graduate of Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, NJ, Gross was very active participating as a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Spirit Ambassador, and a team member for varsity tennis, basketball, and softball.  She was also an altar server and pianist during high school.  Gross plans to major in Exercise Science at Immaculata in the Physical Therapy program that partners with Thomas Jefferson University.

Gross commented, “I am thrilled to have received the scholarship and to attend Immaculata where I can continue to be actively involved in my school community.”

Immaculata University is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher learning, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
