Immaculata University is pleased to announce that incoming freshman Keani Hindle has been selected for the Presidential Scholarship. Hindle resides in Ocean View, NJ, and graduated from Ocean City High School.
“I feel very lucky and honored to receive the Presidential scholarship,” states Hindle. “This scholarship will help me achieve my goal of earning a degree and I am very excited to see what the upcoming years have in store.”

With an eclectic assortment of hobbies, Hindle was active in various sports during high school including four years on the varsity softball team. In addition, she was a member of the literacy magazine, Key Club, REBEL Club, Photography Club, band, and the National Honor Society. She was also part of a club where students taught their peers about the effects of tobacco. Outside of academics, Hindle was busy volunteering with the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts which included assisting with community events such as cleaning the Cape May Light House. As an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ocean View, Hindle volunteered for various events and served as a teacher’s assistant for Sunday School, a group co-leader of Vacation Bible School, and was a reader and communion assistant during service.
Hindle plans to major in English with Secondary Education and hopes to become an English teacher who makes English more interesting for students.
