Veterans Raise the Flag at IU

On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, Immaculata University welcomes veterans, active military, Guard and Reservists, their families, and the public to celebrate the past and continuing contributions of service men and women. All events are free and open to the public.

Colonel Scott Mueller is a native of Glenview, IL, and an Army officer with 22 years of active service. Commissioned in 1994 as an Armor Officer, he has commanded at the platoon, company, and battalion level in addition to serving on battalion, brigade, and corps-level staffs. Colonel Mueller’s operational deployments include Task Force Hawk in Albania, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and he most recently served as a staff officer in Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve. Colonel Mueller holds a bachelor’s degree in European History from the United States Military Academy (West Point), a master’s degree in Management from Webster University, and is currently enrolled in the U.S. Army War College earning a master’s degree in Strategic Studies. Upon graduation from the War College, Colonel Mueller will take command of the U.S. Army garrison at Camp Humphreys in the Republic of Korea.
