IU Student Accepted into Summer Medical Program
Immaculata University freshman Andrew Zakhary of Malvern, PA has been accepted into the Summer Medical and Dental Program sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Rutgers University. Zakhary graduated from Great Valley High School and is majoring in Allied Health.
“I am very excited for Andrew and his acceptance into the Robert Wood Johnson summer medical program,” stated Bob Rimkis, D.H.Sc., chair of the Department of Health Sciences and Services at Immaculata. “Through due diligence, Andrew has found additional resources to enhance his academic preparation to foster his endeavors as a Doctor of Pharmacy. I am extremely proud of Andrew and his representation of Immaculata within this opportunity.”
The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program, established in 1988, is a free six-week program for individuals representing a wide-range of cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity.
Immaculata University is a Catholic, comprehensive, coeducational institution of higher education, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
