IU Presents “Broadway on Broad Street and a Few Doors Down” concert at the Kimmel Center
To celebrate its new status as an All-Steinway School, Immaculata University will present “Broadway on Broad Street and a Few Doors Down,” a concert of Broadway classics and other musical selections, on Saturday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater.
Immaculata’s renowned Steinway Artist and Professor of Music William Carr, DMA, will perform with Immaculata students, faculty and alumni, as well as Philadelphia’s acclaimed Girard Academic Music Program (GAMP) Concert Choir and the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Concert Choir. The concert will include songs from the popular Broadway musicals Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, and Les Misérables.
