Immaculata University’s Student Dietetic Association Sponsors A Presentation on Celiac Disease
On Thursday, March 27, Cleo Libonati, RN, BSN, co-founder of Gluten Free Works, Inc., and author of "Recognizing Celiac Disease," will sign her book and give a presentation entitled "Gluten Free Works: Managing Celiac Disease through Diet." The book signing begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7:00 p.m. in Loyola Hall, room 127, on the campus of Immaculata University.
The 40-minute presentation explains gluten and celiac disease, describes how gluten causes health problems in the body, and how nutritional deficiencies develop leading to a multitude of health problems. In addition, Libonati will help participants put together a gluten-free diet that addresses individual needs.

Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
