Immaculata University’s Nursing Faculty Selected to Geriatric Training Program

Ms. Gail Lehner, BSN, MSN, APRN, BC and Jane Tang, BSN, MSN, PhD, both assistant professors of Nursing at Immaculata University, have been selected to participate in the Geriatric Nursing Education Consortium (GNEC) training institute scheduled for October 3 – 5, 2007 in Atlanta, GA.
The GNEC, administered by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, is a national initiative to enhance geriatric content in senior-level baccalaureate courses. Using the "train the trainer" approach, nursing faculty attending the GNEC institutes are expected to serve as leaders and mentors by sharing their new expertise with colleagues. The John A. Hartford Foundation generously funds this program.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
