Immaculata University Welcomes the Eric Mintel Quartet

The Music Department of Immaculata University announces a concert by the Eric Mintel Quartet on Friday, January 19, at 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall on the university´s campus.
The Eric Mintel Quartet, formed in 1993, consists of Eric Mintel on piano, Nelson Hill on alto sax and flute, Dave Antonow on upright bass, and Dave Mohn on drums. Eric Mintel is a composer of orchestra and choral music. While in concert, the quartet often incorporate both jazz and classical and jazz and chorale music with accompanying symphonies and choirs. In 1998, he performed at the White House for President Clinton. Eric was featured in Down Beat Jazz Magazine and has performed on NPR, QVC, and XM Satellite´s Real Jazz. His various performance venues include the Kimmel Center and the Kennedy Center.
