Immaculata University Presents Workshop on Unforgotten Toys
The College of Graduate Studies at Immaculata University will offer a two-day workshop entitled Circles of Healing: Unforgotten Toys on Saturday, September 16, and Sunday, September 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Good Counsel Hall. Angela Falco, MA, will instruct this class.
This Circle will detail the use of music in the treatment of children, young and old. Experiences in Unforgotten Toys, an original album of music developed by the presenter, will touch the hearts and minds of all participants. Hands-on methods of music and healing will be used in this Circle. Those who in any way have responsibility for the development of children in care-giving, education, parenting, or in therapy, will be completely motivated to use music for "the child".
Introduced during the inception of the graduate certificate in expressive arts, the Circles of Healing series presents initiative for study, experiential work, and practice in music, visual arts, dance, movement, and drama.
Cost for the one-credit course if taken at the graduate level is $480 and $335 if taken at the undergraduate level. It is also offered as a non-credit workshop for $170. For more information, contact the College of Graduate Studies at 610-647-4400, ext. 3211.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
