Immaculata University Presents Workshop on Behaving Artistically
The College of Graduate Studies at Immaculata University will offer a two-day workshop entitled Circles of Healing: Behaving Artistically on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Loyola Hall. Zan Lombardo, MFA, will instruct this class.
This Circle will use head, heart and hands, participants will listen deeply together and learn new ways to behave artistically through bookmaking, journaling, doodling with an artistic device known as a "doodle loom", poetry and group clay experiences. Responding to the world and reflecting on one´s connection with it and with others, participants will look at ways to open themselves to possibility and live more balanced lives.
Introduced during the inception of the graduate certificate in expressive arts, the Circles of Healing series presents initiative for study, experiential work, and practice in music, visual arts, dance, movement, and drama.
Cost for the one-credit course if taken at the graduate level is $480 and $335 if taken at the undergraduate level. It is also offered as a non-credit workshop for $170. For more information, contact the College of Graduate Studies at 610-647-4400, ext. 3211.
