Immaculata University Presents Salvatore Basile Author of “Fifth Avenue Famous: The Extraordinary Story of Music at St. Patrick’s Cathedral”

Immaculata University presents a lecture by Salvatore Basile, author of "Fifth Avenue Famous: The Extraordinary Story of Music at St. Patrick´s Cathedral" on Thursday, November 4, at 7 p.m. in the Green Room on the university´s campus. There will be a book signing following the lecture. The book was published May 13, 2010.
Basile is a senior cantor and music historian for St. Patrick´s Cathedral in New York. The colorful 125-year history of St. Patrick´s Cathedral´s choir, considered the gold standard of liturgical music, includes a mix of New York history and secrets of stars and politicians that made gossip headlines, and a treasurer trove of vibrant characters.
