Immaculata University Hosts Battle of the Bands Benefit

Immaculata University will be hosting a Battle of the Bands on Sunday, April 2, 2006. The event is a benefit to raise money for the Sara Hanna Foundation, an organization founded to alleviate the medical bills and associated care costs for Sara Hanna, a former Immaculata University student. Sara was a promising freshman, but suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident on December 23, 2004.
The Battle of the Bands includes bands from Chester and Delaware counties, Scranton, PA, Maryland, and New Jersey. The event will be held on the Back Campus of Immaculata University, and begins at 1:00 pm. It is open to the public, with tickets being $10 for students and $15 for adults. The Student Association of Immaculata University and Omicron Pi Epsilon are jointly running the event, and all proceeds will be donated to the Sara Hanna Foundation. For additional information, please contact Rhonda Fioresi at 610-647-4400, extension 3113 or access the Sara Hanna Foundation Web site at
