Immaculata University Hosts 9th Annual SEPCHE Honors Convocation

More than 100 college students from the eight local SEPCHE schools will present original research at the 9th Annual SEPCHE Honors Convocation held at Immaculata University on Saturday, March 31.
The daylong conference will highlight academic and artistic presentations, and feature four different musical performances. Twenty Immaculata University students, a majority from Immaculata´s Honors Program, will present. Some of their topics include:
• Gender Equity in Education Around the World
• A Cross Cultural Look at School and Socialization
• Environmentalism and Government Institutions
• How Investments has Impacted Emerging Markets
• U.S. Multinational Growth in Latin America
Janet F. Kane, Ed.D., dean of the College of Undergraduate Studies and Curriculum at Immaculata University, stated that the SEPCHE Honors Convocation is "a great opportunity for students to experience the atmosphere of a professional research conference."
Founded in 1993, SEPCHE is a group of eight independent colleges and universities in the Greater Philadelphia region that includes Cabrini, Chestnut Hill, Gwynedd-Mercy, Neumann, and Rosemont colleges, and Arcadia, Holy Family, and Immaculata universities.
