Immaculata University Alumna Barbara Lettiere Joins Board of Trustees
Immaculata University alumna Barbara Lettiere ´72 has been elected to the University´s Board of Trustees for a three-year term. "By graciously returning to her alma mater as a member of the University´s Board of Trustees, Barbara Lettiere brings a wealth of professional experience in the financial and business sectors to Immaculata. As Immaculata continues to emerge as a leader in higher education, her stewardship will be an asset to the development and growth of the institution," said Sister Patricia Fadden, IHM, president of Immaculata University.
Currently, Lettiere is acting CFO of Trinity College in Washington, DC, where she was previously vice president for finance and administration from 2002-2006 and then served as a consultant for the institution overseeing investments and endowments for one year.
Lettiere began her marketing and finance career at Bell Atlantic where she served as vice president and treasurer for two years before becoming vice president for finance and controller. In 2006, she became president of Bell Atlantic Federal Systems where she was responsible for leading and managing sales, operations, finance and marketing for the business unit.
Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Immaculata University in Mathematics in 1972, Lettiere continued her education and received a Master of Arts in Economics/Statistics from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She earned an MBA from Rider University and completed course credits for the CPA exam at Temple University.
Lettiere will work with other Board members to formulate and direct the general policies of the University.
