Immaculata Recognized As A College of Distinction
Immaculata University has been named a College of Distinction along with a Catholic College of Distinction. Criteria for inclusion consist of four standards: engagement, teaching, community, and outcomes that use a mix of quantitative and qualitative data.
“Immaculata University is a shining example of quality Catholic education. We are honored to be recognized as a College of Distinction and be acknowledged for our commitment to fulfilling our Catholic mission in the IHM tradition,” stated Kevin Quinn, MBA, CFRE, vice president for University Advancement and Communications.
According to the Colleges of Distinction website: “It is more important to understand where the college is going and not where it has been.” Founded by concerned parents and admissions professionals, Colleges of Distinction’s mission is to enable students to find colleges and universities that appeal to and complement their unique personalities and aspirations. As part of the vetting process, senior administrators, faculty, alumni, and current students of Immaculata were interviewed and a site visit conducted.
