Immaculata Hosts Seminar on “Where’s the Justice in the Justice System”
The Department of History, Politics and International Relations is sponsoring a presentation entitled "Where´s the Justice in the Justice System?" on Wednesday, March 2, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Loyola Hall.
Defense Attorney Michael Malloy will be the guest speaker for the program. The highlight of the program will be the remarkable story of Ricky Jackson. Ricky was falsely accused of murder, convicted, and received a life sentence without parole. He was eventually freed after it was determined that the fingerprint experts who testified at his trial gave incorrect and false testimony.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Karen D´Agusto, lecturer in History/Politics at Immaculata University, at 610-647-4400, ext. 3458.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
