Dr. Angela Tripp Joins Immaculata University as Director of Enrollment Management for CLL
Dr. Angela Tripp, a resident of Exton, PA, joined the Immaculata University College of LifeLong Learning as Director of Enrollment Management. Dr. Tripp began her career working for The Baltimore Sun as an events coordinator in May, 2000, where her duties consisted of coordinating the logistics, marketing, public relations and sales for events in the Baltimore region, as well as market research, sponsorship sales and recruitment and training of interns. She held positions with several colleges, including Towson University as an admissions & recruitment specialist for the graduate school. At Cecil Community College she served as Director of Business and Industry Operations & Services, Director of Technical Programs Transportation and Logistics and Director of the Conference Center. She also worked as an Assistant Director of Business and Industry Services at Baltimore City Community College and Director of Admissions at the School of Professional Studies and School of Education, promoted to Executive Director of Admissions in January, 2006.
Dr. Tripp received her Doctorate of Education from Morgan State University. She also received her Master of Arts in liberal and professional studies focused in human resource development and a post baccalaureate certificate from Towson University specializing in management and leadership development. She received her Bachelor of Arts from York College of Pennsylvania with a major in public relations and a minor in speech communications.
Her career includes adjunct faculty teaching experience, such as instructing in time management and decision making at Trinity University in Washington, DC, introduction to public relations at Johns Hopkins Baltimore Free University and introduction to business, stress management, time management, drivers education and speech at Cecil Community College.
Dr. Tripp won awards such as the York College Student Service Award, the Extra Mile Award from The Sun, the Appreciation Award Cecil Community College Kids in Kollege Program and the Susquehanna Workforce Investment Board Maryland Business Works Award.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tripp demonstrated her abilities in enrollment management by overseeing the recruitment process and helping universities grow by increasing the enrollment of a diverse student body.
Immaculata University is a Catholic, coeducational institution located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, between Paoli and Exton, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352.
