Circles of Healing: Unforgotten Toys

The College of Graduate Studies at Immaculata University will offer a two-day workshop entitled Circles of Healing: Unforgotten Toys, on Saturday, October 15, and Sunday, October 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall on the university´s campus. Angela Falco, MA, CMT, will instruct this class.
This Workshop details the use of music in the treatment of children, young and old. Experiences in "Unforgotten Toys," an original album of music developed by the presenter, will touch the hearts and minds of all participants. Hands-on methods of music and healing will be used in this Circle. Anyone responsible for the development of children in caregiving, education, parenting, or in therapy, will be motivated to use music for "the child."
Introduced during the inception of the graduate certificate in expressive arts, the Circles of Healing series presents initiative for study, experiential work, and practice in music, visual arts, dance, movement, and drama.
Cost for the course if taken at the graduate level is $460 and $335 if taken at the undergraduate level. It is also offered as a non-credit workshop for $160. For more information contact the College of Graduate Studies at 610-647-4400, ext. 3211.
