The Immaculata University’s Children’s Theatre is proud to present Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., a pop culture phenomenon from the book by Scott Ferguson, George Keating, and Kyle Hall. Performances are Wednesday, March 21 through Friday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. with reserved seating and Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. with open seating in Alumnae Hall Theater on the University´s campus.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the TV set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs and Just a Bill, Unpack your Adjectives, and Conjunction Junction. Music and lyrics for the one-hour musical are by Lynn Ahrens, Bob Dorough, Dave Frishberg, Kathy Mandry, George Newall and Tom Yohe. The Immaculata University’s Children’s Theatre is directed by Dara Himes ’13.
