Carolyn Wiesner Joins Nursing Faculty
Immaculata University announces that Carolyn Wiesner of Thornton PA, has joined the faculty in the Division of Nursing where she will instruct students in the undergraduate pre-licensure Nursing program.
Beginning her academic career at Delaware County Community College as adjunct clinical faculty and then as interim nursing program coordinator, Wiesner also served as an adjunct Nursing faculty member for Immaculata for over two years. For 17 years, she worked at Lankenau Hospital‘s Medical Oncology/Hematology Unit originally as a staff nurse before eventually serving as clinical coordinator.
Graduating from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Wiesner continued her education and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She is Chemotherapy Administration Certified and is a certified Oncology Nurse and has held certification in OCN Chemotherapy. Wiesner also successfully completed the Critical Care Course in 2006.
“I am excited to be part of the Immaculata Community and am looking forward teaching the next generation of nurses” commented Wiesner on her new role at Immaculata.
